Hi, I'm Hendrik.
Twenty years ago I started photographing Switzerland to show my family across the world where I live. Somewhere between a thousand alpine sunrises and a hundred festival nights, it became my life's work: catching light the way it actually feels — bright, natural, never harsh — and grading it with the cinematic warmth of the films and K-dramas I love.
I chase all four seasons on foot: first light at Oeschinensee, confetti storms at Fasnacht, hot-air balloons over Château-d'Œx, larch gold above Wengen. Then I edit every frame and film myself, so nothing leaves my desk until it feels like being there. I tell these stories in English and Indonesian on my Instagram at @hendrik__sirait for viewers on both sides of the world.
